Our American heritage is rich in oil and natural gas. West Virginia is one of the oldest natural gas producing regions in the United States, with reserves still untapped in multiple geological zones. Recent economics have made producing these reserves increasingly attractive, and our national energy situation has made such natural gas production an American responsibility.

Maverick has drilled natural gas wells right in the middle of these reserves. In fact, drilling in the Appalachian Basin has been likened to “farming”—Maverick has not drilled a dry hole yet. Maverick operates and owns interest in several producing natural gas wells in West Virginia and retains a 25% working interest in these wells. With ongoing pipeline infrastructure updates and technological advances, we anticipate our natural gas wells will continue to produce good revenue for Maverick.
